Descendants: The Rise of Red - Meet the Cast

Familiar Faces and New Blood

The upcoming Disney film "Descendants: The Rise of Red" promises to bring back some familiar faces from the original franchise, along with a host of new characters. The film will follow the story of Red, the rebellious daughter of the Queen of Hearts, as she incites a coup on Auradon.

The Core Cast

China Anne McClain will reprise her role as Uma, the daughter of Ursula. Other returning cast members include Sofia Carson as Mal, the daughter of Maleficent; Dove Cameron as Evie, the daughter of the Evil Queen; and Cameron Boyce as Carlos, the son of Cruella de Vil.

The new cast members include Sarah Jeffery as Red, the daughter of the Queen of Hearts; Cheyenne Jackson as Hades, the Lord of the Underworld; and Judith Maxie as Celia Facilier, the daughter of Dr. Facilier.
