Breaking Playoff Scenarios For Week 17

BREAKING: Playoff Scenarios for Week 17

AFC

The AFC playoff picture is still very much up in the air heading into Week 17. The Kansas City Chiefs have already clinched the AFC West and the No. 1 seed in the conference, but the remaining three division winners are still to be determined.

In the AFC East, the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins are both 9-6 and tied for first place. The Bills hold the tiebreaker by virtue of their head-to-head victory over the Dolphins in Week 3, so they would win the division if both teams finish with the same record.

In the AFC North, the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens are both 10-5 and tied for first place. The Bengals hold the tiebreaker by virtue of their head-to-head victory over the Ravens in Week 5, so they would win the division if both teams finish with the same record.

In the AFC South, the Jacksonville Jaguars have already clinched the division title with a 13-3 record. The Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts are both 7-8 and tied for second place, but the Titans hold the tiebreaker by virtue of their head-to-head victory over the Colts in Week 4.

In the NFC North, the Minnesota Vikings have already clinched the division title with a 12-4 record. The Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers are both 8-8 and tied for second place, but the Lions hold the tiebreaker by virtue of their head-to-head victory over the Packers in Week 17.
